Speaking Life

So I was talking with God last night and I felt the need to continue to say "my heart and my mind are Yours" over and over again. The more I said it, the more I realized that it wasn't true. The more I could see the places where I needed to change some things to make this an actual fact. I pondered that thing.

Of course I'm super big on "Speaking Life" I think that's the most important thing you can do in life. After last night I thought that perhaps some of us decide not to speak life because then we actually have to do it. That our deepest fear IS really that we are powerful beyond measure. By speaking life something happens in our mind, we start to believe it. Our mind starts to rearrange the patterns and over-traveled routes in our life and take on a new path. We know who we are, we know how we think, we know what we like, we know what we dislike, what makes us happy and so forth... we don't know this "NEW" and improved being that could become should we take an opportunity to transform. I've been thinking about caterpillars lately (I'm a kid at heart) and now I'm thinking about what it must be like to be a caterpillar.

Go with me... As a caterpillar you walk on YOUR legs (your ability not God's). You have several different legs that can get you where you need to go. Your body is long and squishy. You can hide under different things to that no one can see you (the dark). You come out when you want to. You take pieces of what God created in order to have nourishment leaving several little holes, while your belly is full. You love life. You become comfortable in your skin and you feel like a survivor since you haven't been picked off by one of the birds in the sky (devil's tactics... you still have life, even though it's not abundant life). Then somehow through nature you realize that you have to change. You've eaten all you can eat and are full (of this world...nothing more to experience... unless you just like to live life on repeat)

The cocoon is the BEST place ever. It's symbolic of the change within your heart. A wonderful change! A change that happens where no one else can see. If they do see a glimmer of change, they really can't understand all that has happened until you emerge as a butterfly. You are protected from the elements and onlookers in this state. You transform. really think about this process... it's CRAZY amazing... a worm-like thing becoming a flying thing?? LOOK AT GOD hey! hey!... He could have just created caterpillars and butterflies... but He didnt!!!!!! He created caterpillars to become butterflies. Just like He could have just created minions to serve Him and those who would not serve Him, but He didn't... we are ALL sinners and with our freedom of choice we choose... Mercy... can't even speak on that any more. Genesis 35:2 "So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes."

Aaaah yes and now you are a butterfly. You fly at totally new heights. You see the world in a whole different view. You feast on the sweet nectar God created. It ain't all easy. You have to use energy to fly, but you can glide in The Father's wind when you are weary.

This change isn't even limited to serve God fully and completely or to not, but any change that brings you to a new level in life. We could very well be serving God and still be caterpillars... Take on God's plan for you!! Ultimately being the BEST you and not settling for chubby legs and homemade wings to get where you want to go. :)

I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.

I got this today and it really blessed me:

'If you understand your position in life, you can change your condition in life'

There comes a time in every woman's life when she has to take a close look at herself. Not at her circumstance, not at what she did, not how unfair life is, or at who made you do it. She has to just look at herself in all her glory and imperfection. Have you ever admired a woman who has been through changes in her life? Or have you made up in your mind that she is just messed up. Before you make this mistake, take a closer look. A woman who has endured the most unusual life is someone of wisdom, someone who has been chosen by YAHWAH to go through things that have made her stronger.

Think of all the great women in the Bible:
Mary Magdalene, Ruth and Naomi, the woman with an issue of blood, and Esther, to name a few. Mary was a prostitute, a very uneasy woman. But by the time YAHSHUA was done with her, she was His closest follower. Esther was unfortunate in marrying an abusive man, but by the time YAHWAH was done with her, she had married one of the wealthiest men in the land.

Women are so quick to beat the next one down instead of trying to hold her up. Before you wonder, 'What's up with her?' ask yourself, 'What's up with me?' That woman could be my mother, sister, aunt, in-law, stepmother, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, friend, or co-worker, etc. That woman could be ME.

Women are the carriers of life, not the channels of death. Let's build and encourage each other, as did
Ruth and Naomi. Pass this to all the women in your life. Encourage and love, forgive and forget, and trust that the woman that receives this will be touched in some way.

'I cannot change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination......'

He Did It All

So this song is so one of my favorites. It was on the radio and I just love it... Thank you Lord

To listen

Verse 1
Lord, You loved me before I even loved myself,
Your loving arms reached out for me, You said,
don't worry, I'll be there when there's no one else
I'm everything that you need.

Chorus
You cared for me,
You set me free,
You gave Your life on Calvary,
You did it all for me.

Verse 2
In my weakness I feel Your strength sustaining me,
for all my help comes from You.
And in my sorrow I feel such comfort and relief,
nothing can shake my love for You.

Chorus

Bridge
You are there when I cry,
walking close at me side.
